This classic Makhni daal is a restaurant favourite alongside butter chicken and a tikka masala! It is a delicious side or eaten with naan, a great main!

Ingredients
  • 1 pack of The Spice Tailor Delhi Black Lentil Daal (lentils included)
  • 1-2 tsp hot vegetable oil or ghee
  • 4-5 tbsp water
Method
  1. Fry the spices from the whole spice sachet in 1-2 tsp of hot oil (or ghee) until sizzling.
  2. Stir in the tarka sauce from the Tarka sauce pouch and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the lentils from the lentil pouch and 4-5 tbsp water, bring to a simmer, then serve.
